What about the high cable loss due to the high operating frequency of 5G? MASWELL 5G antenna series standard with ultra-low loss cable

With the completion of 5G independent networking standard, 5G terminal antenna as an important key component for signal reception and transmission indispensable for 5G devices has also ushered in a design boom. However, due to the high operating frequency of 5G antenna, the cable loss is also high, and the loss of common LMR200 4m cable reaches 3dB at 6GHz (as shown in Figure 1).

The two 5G ultra-wideband log-periodic antennas AN_Master_004 and AN_Master_005 (Figure 2) developed by MASWELL with independent intellectual property rights are directly equipped with ultra-low loss cable, LMR600 with the same specification of 0.6 inch cable (Figure 3), and the 4m loss is only 1.29dB (Figure 4). Meanwhile, these two antennas cover the frequency range of 600MHz~6000MHz, with extremely wide operating bandwidth, and the gain performance of 6.8dBi(AN_Master_004) and 9.5dBi(AN_Master_005) is high and low. Such excellent performance makes this 5G terminal antenna not only support all current 5G bands worldwide, but also backward compatible with all 4G LTE, 3G, GSM bands worldwide. In addition, all current WiFi 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz and the future commercial WiFi 6.0GHz are also directly compatible with the technology.
